Similar People

Backstory:
Born from the diverse university halls of Brighton, UK, Similar People started off as a loose collection of students who shared a common passion for music. Formed in 2010, the band comprises of four members: lead singer and guitarist Joe Thomas, bassist and backup vocalist Sarah Brown, drummer Mike Stevens, and keyboardist Lucy White. Over time, they evolved from being a casual jam band, playing small gigs around Brighton, to a powerful indie rock ensemble that have played at some of the biggest festivals in the UK and are widely regarded for their thought-provoking lyrics and electrifying live performances.

Their journey to stardom has been nothing less than a roller coaster ride. From struggling for recognition to being signed by a major record label, they have seen it all. After their initial struggle, they broke into the music scene with their debut album “Echoes of Us,” which garnered critical acclaim and was a commercial hit. Since then, there has been no looking back for this indie rock quartet.

Title:
“Colors in the Grey”

Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am G F G
Lost in the rhythm of a cold morning rain,
Am G F G
Trapped in the echoes of our old love’s pain.
Am G F G
But the horizon calls with a brand-new day,
Am G F G
Promising colors in the grey.

(Chorus)
C G Am F
Look out, world, we’re standing tall,
C G Am F
In the face of storms, we won’t fall.
C G Am F
In the canvas of life, we’ll find our way,
C G Am F
Painting vibrant colors in the grey.

(Verse 2)
Am G F G
In the symphony of chaos, we find our tune,
Am G F G
Under the silent whispers of the moon.
Am G F G
We’ll keep marching on, come what may,
Am G F G
Creating our colors in the grey.

(Chorus)
C G Am F
Look out, world, we’re standing tall,
C G Am F
In the face of storms, we won’t fall.
C G Am F
In the canvas of life, we’ll find our way,
C G Am F
Painting vibrant colors in the grey.
