Song Title:
“Whiskey Sunrise”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[G] Woke up to a [D] whiskey sunrise,
[Em] Remnants of the [C] night still in your eyes,
[G] Empty bottles [D] lying on the floor,
[Em] Memories of love [C] we don’t ignore.

(Chorus)
[G] I’m just a [D] part of the whiskey sunrise,
[Em] Trying to [C] stay afloat in your sea of lies,
[G] We were once [D] beautiful, pure and bright,
[Em] Now we’re just a [C] whiskey sunrise fight.

(Verse 2)
[G] You said love was [D] a losing game,
[Em] Now we’re just cards [C] thrown in the flame,
[G] Was it all a [D] beautiful demise,
[Em] Or just another [C] whiskey sunrise?

(Chorus)
[G] I’m just a [D] part of the whiskey sunrise,
[Em] Lost in [C] your maze of sweet goodbyes,
[G] We could have [D] been the castle in the sky,
[Em] Now we’re just a [C] whiskey sunrise cry.

(Outro)
[G] Woke up to a [D] whiskey sunrise,
[Em] An ending written [C] in the skies,
[G] I’ll remember [D] you and our ties,
[Em] And the bitter [C] sweet of whiskey [G] sunrise.
