Backstory:
Slim Creditor is a group of four friends originating from the heart of New York City’s Wall Street. The band members, previously involved in the finance industry, decided to trade their briefcases for guitars and drumsticks after a particularly stressful audit season. The group, comprised of lead vocalist and bassist Fred “Slim” Banks, drummer Paul “Creditor” Creed, guitarist John “Ledger” Leary, and keyboardist Mark “Balance” Sheets, vowed to create music that reflected their past in a light-hearted way – part therapy, part catharsis, and full of rhythm and blues.
Their music, heavily influenced by their unique past, narrates stories of financial markets, economic hardships, and corporate guiles, which not only resonates with the white-collar fan base but also with anyone who enjoys a soulful tune. Slim Creditor quickly rose to fame within the city, and their influence soon began to spread nationwide. Their ability to deliver hard-hitting truths of the corporate world in smooth melodies is what truly sets them apart from the crowd.
