Backstory:

Moist Fuel is the brainchild of high-school friends Mark “Mackie” Thompson (lead guitar) and Greg “Gravy” Reynolds (vocals). The two spent their formative years in rainy Portland, Oregon, where they first discovered their shared love for rock music. As they got older, their passion for music grew and they decided to form a band. After several years of searching for the right members, they were joined by bassist Steve “Stevie” Johnson and drummer James “Jimmy” Davis. The quartet has been inseparable ever since, creating music that embodies their tight-knit friendship and a shared love for rock and roll.

Moist Fuel crafts their music in an old, converted gas station, hence the name “Moist Fuel”. They quickly gained a reputation for their dynamic live performances and unique take on the rock genre. They’re known for their raw energy, driving rhythms, and thoughtful lyrics, all of which mirror the spirit of their native Portland – diverse, complex, and authentic.
