Evil Test

Backstory:
Evil Test was formed in 2017, when five software engineers from San Francisco’s tech industry discovered a shared passion for music that defied the normative constraints of their day job. The band members, Mike (vocals), Dave (guitar), Sam (bass), Lisa (keyboard), and Alex (drums), initially started jamming after work hours, finding solace in their shared love for music amidst the pressure of coding and debugging. Their shared interest in esoteric philosophical concepts and dark humor began influencing their music, leading to the creation of their unique sound and the name Evil Test, a nod to their tech background and the subversive themes embedded in their music.

Genre:
Evil Test is a band that primarily falls under the Alternative Rock genre, but they are also heavily influenced by Progressive Rock and a dash of Electronica. Their sound is characterized by intricate guitar lines, complex rhythmic structures, and thought-provoking lyrics, often blended with synth loops and electronic effects.

Song Title:
“Binary Shadows”

Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em/G
In the realm of ones and zeroes, we play, we falter,
D/C
Haunted by the binary shadows, we sway, we alter.

(Chorus)
G/D
Binary shadows, binary dreams,
Am/C
In the code, we find our silent screams.

(Verse 2)
Em/G
In the orbits of silicon minds, we’re caught, we wander,
D/C
In the echoes of electric time, we’re lost, we ponder.

(Chorus)
G/D
Binary shadows, silicon seas,
Am/C
In the chips, we carve our destinies.

(Bridge)
Em/B
Caught in the layers of the cybernetic maze,
D/A
We are but pawns in the digital haze.

(Chorus)
G/D
Binary shadows, binary dreams,
Am/C
In the code, we find our silent screams.
