Backstory:
Born out of the vibrant music scene in Seattle in early 2000s, Dimpled Volume is the brainchild of childhood friends, lead guitarist and vocalist, Joel McKenzie, and drummer, Anthony ‘Tony’ Davidson. Inspired by late-night garage jam sessions, the two decided to turn their love for music into a full-fledged band, recruiting classmate and bass guitar virtuoso, Ethan Cromwell and keyboard player, Emily Jones. Pricey Dish was formed in the heart of London in the winter of 2012. The group is made up of four members, each bringing something unique to the table. Ben ‘Benny’ Anderson, an ex-chef with a passion for music, picked up the bass and started the band. He was joined by his childhood friend, Tim ‘Tinny’ Harris, a former stockbroker who swapped his suit for a drum kit. Ironclad Mate was formed in the coastal city of San Diego, California in 2010.
