Backstory:
Kosher Wind was formed in a small, nondescript village in Jerusalem, Israel. The band was the brainchild of Isaac Cohen, a rabbi’s son with a penchant for musical instruments and an ear for melodies. Isaac was soon joined by his childhood friends, Benjamin, Levi, and Simon on the drums, bass, and lead guitars respectively. They turned their shared love for music into a creative outlet, drawing on their cultural heritage as well as their spiritual upbringing. From performing at Bar Mitzvahs to sell-out shows in Tel Aviv, Kosher Wind came a long way since their humble beginnings. Their music is a testament to their roots and a reflection of their faith, incorporating elements of Jewish folklore and modern rhythms.
Genre:
Kosher Wind primarily plays Jewish Folk-Rock with a modern twist.
