Grim Destruction

Backstory:
Formed in the dark alleyways of London in the late-1990s, Grim Destruction was the brainchild of four high school friends; Jack ‘Grim’ Wilson, Ricky ‘Wrecker’ Jenkins, ‘Dangerous’ Dave Thompson, and ‘Thunderous’ Tom Evans. They were a disparate group of individuals drawn together by the chaos of life and the seductive allure of the music. Each member was nursing a wound, and through their shared pain, they found something beautiful. They began to play in the local pub scene and quickly gained a reputation for their wild performances and raw, unfiltered sound.

Grim Destruction dared to break the norms and conventions of the music scene, gaining notoriety and attention for their reckless antics on and off-stage. Their infamous reputation often overshadowed their musical talent until the release of their debut album, “Echoes of the Damned.” It showcased a raw and edgy side to their music, highlighting their ability to turn pain into art. The album helped the band gain significant recognition in the underground music community and eventually led to their global breakout.

Title:
“Shadows In The Rain”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[E] Shadows in the rain, [C] echoes of our pain
[D] Lost in this game, all [G] drowned in the same
[E] We bear the mark, [C] engraved in the dark
[D] Can’t escape the spark, [G] we’re creatures of the arc

(Chorus)
[A] Grim Destruction, we are [E] born
[C] In the echoes of the storm [D] torn
[A] Our hearts, they bleed, forever [E] scorned
[C] In the shadows, we are [D] formed

(Verse 2)
[E] Black roses bloom, [C] amidst the gloom
[D] In the great tomb, [G] we find our doom
[E] The music plays, [C] through the haze
[D] Of our darkest days, [G] it’s an endless maze

(Chorus)
[A] Grim Destruction, we are [E] born
[C] In the echoes of the storm [D] torn
[A] Our hearts, they bleed, forever [E] scorned
[C] In the shadows, we are [D] formed
