Backstory:
Born from a shared love of electronic beats and heartfelt lyrics, New Interest formed in a quaint basement in Portland, Oregon. The trio, consisting of childhood friends – Tyler, Jake and Lauren, started creating music after discovering a shared enthusiasm for bands such as Daft Punk and LCD Soundsystem. Initially performing for small crowds at local bars, the band’s raw talent and authentic sound quickly caught the attention of an independent record label, propelling them into the spotlight.

Title:
“Interstellar Echoes”
Full song lyrics:
(Verse 1 – C, Am, F, G)
In a world that’s spinning too fast,
We found solace in the past.
Eyes closed, dreams awake,
In this moment, there’s no mistake.
(Chorus – Am, G, F, C)
Interstellar echoes, keep us alive,
In the darkness, they help us survive.
Through the void, our hearts they guide,
In the music, our souls confide.
(Verse 2 – C, Am, F, G)
Beneath the city’s neon glow,
We find rhythms that ebb and flow.
The sound of silence, the pulse of the night,
In the music, we find our light.
(Chorus – Am, G, F, C)
Interstellar echoes, in our veins,
Drowning out the world’s pains.
In the cosmos, we are free,
In the music, we find our key.
(Outro – C, Am, F, G)
In the echoes, we find our song,
In the music, we belong.
Interstellar echoes, let them ring,
In the music, we are everything.

I’ve been following them since their early days in Portland, and their growth has been amazing to witness. Their music has been a constant companion through my ups and downs. ‘Interstellar Echoes’ is my personal anthem. I feel seen and heard through their music and for that, they’ll always have a special place in my heart.”
