“One More Mile”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em
Underneath the scorching sun,
G
Our journey has only just begun,
D
We walk the desert mile, hand in hand,
A
With the burning sand beneath our feet, we stand.
(Chorus)
C
One more mile, under this boiling sky,
G
One more mile, where the road and horizon lie.
D
Through parched lips we sing our song,
A
With every step, together we grow strong.
(Verse 2)
Em
The cacti bloom, the rattler shakes,
G
We carry on, whatever it takes,
D
Our shadows stretch, as day turns to night,
A
Underneath the stars, we find our fight.
(Chorus)
C
One more mile, under this moonlit veil,
G
One more mile, chasing our own holy grail.
D
Through parched lips we sing our song,
A
With every step, together we go on.
