Liquid Grip

Backstory:

Liquid Grip was born in a dusty garage in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, in the summer of 2012. Childhood friends and self-taught musicians, Ricky “Ricochet” Daniels and Tommy “T-Dub” Watson, found themselves at a crossroads after their high school graduation. Instead of choosing the college route, they both decided to transform their love for music into a career. They spent the next few years honing their skills, writing songs, and performing at local venues, which gave them a loyal hometown following.

In 2014, they added two more members to their tribe, bassist Joey “J-Rock” Richards and drummer Nick “Nitro” Nelson. With their new lineup, Liquid Grip’s raw energy, soulful lyrics, and intoxicating guitar riffs quickly caught the attention of an indie record label. The band’s journey from a small-town phenomenon to a national treasure had begun.

In the night, under stars, find the words unspoken,

Scream out loud, let your voice be the token,
F (C) G Am
Sing the anthem, anthem of the broken.

The song of the lost, the beat of the forsaken,

So, here’s our sound, in it truth is woven,
F (C) G Am
This is the anthem, anthem of the broken.

Feel the grip, let it slip, be one with the broken.
