Backstory:
In the heart of the bustling city of Seattle in 2015, five childhood friends decided to embark on a music journey that would soon define them. Born in the tranquil fringes of the city, Mason (vocals), Lenny (guitar), Felix (bass), Andrew (drums) and Eric (keyboard) were all united by their love for music. As kids, they would often jam together, creating unique sounds and melodies that were deeply rooted in their collective spirit. After years of refining their talent and exploring their sound, they formed ‘Mellow Parliament’, an ode to their tranquil beginnings and the democratic nature of their musical brainstorming sessions.
Genre:
Indie Rock, with a hint of alternative and psychedelic influence.

(Verse 1)
[C]Underneath the [Em]velvet skies,
[Dm]Gazing at the [G]stars so bright.
[C]Feeling like a [Em]stellared soul,
[Dm]In the universe [G]so cold.
(Chorus)
[C]We are [Em]wandering in a [Dm]stellar paradox,
[G]Seeking answers [C]in the cosmic equinox.
[Em]Life is but a [Dm]serendipitous paradox,
[G]In the theater [C]of the cosmic equinox.

[C]Through the [Em]space-time we ride,
[Dm]Carrying dreams [G]inside.
[C]Chasing [Em]comets, we roam,
[Dm]In this vast [G]cosmic dome.

[C]We are [Em]wandering in a [Dm]stellar paradox,
[G]Seeking answers [C]in the cosmic equinox.
[Em]Life is but a [Dm]serendipitous paradox,
[G]In the theater [C]of the cosmic equinox.
Named Fan:
Their favorite fan is a man named Dave Anderson. Dave was one of the earliest supporters of Mellow Parliament, attending their first bar gigs when they were just starting off. Despite working a 9-5 desk job, Dave would always make time to attend their shows, standing front row, singing along to their songs.
