After releasing a series of impromptu live recordings to the internet, they attracted the attention of an indie record label scout who saw the raw potential in their raw, unapologetic sound. With the addition of drummer Corey “C.C.” Cooper and bassist Sid “Strings” Stevens, Sweaty Black evolved from a duo into a dynamic, full-fledged quartet, ready to take the world by storm.

Through the chaos and the silence, we chase what we can’t see,
Wandering the labyrinth, where you’ll always find me.

Lost in the rhythm, tracing our spark.
Under the crescent, where the shadows fall,
We’re singing our anthem, answering the call.

C Am G F
In the echoes of the alleyways, the secrets that we keep,
We’re dancing on the tightrope, into dreams so deep.
As the city sleeps around us, beneath the waning night,
We’re ready for the journey, under the neon light.

Under the crescent, we’re coloring the night,
With melodies and whispers, in the fading light.

Song Lyrics:

Verse 1: (A, E, D, A)
In the heart of the night, under the dim city lights,

Crescendo shadows, they dance under the moon,
Lost in the rhythm, as they play our tune.
Crescendo shadows, in the echoes of the night,
I find your love in each passing streetlight.

Verse 2: (A, E, D, A)
The rain starts to fall, as the city begins to call,
Your memory seeping from every cracked wall.
The neon lights flicker, as my heart beats quicker,
In the crescendo shadows, your love’s the only sticker.

Chorus: (E, D, A)
Crescendo shadows, they waltz in the rain,
In every silhouette, I feel your touch again.
Crescendo shadows, they’re painting the town,
In every reflection, your love I’ve found.
