Petty Learning

Backstory:
Formed in the bustling college town of Cambridge, Massachusetts, ‘Petty Learning’ was a product of late-night dorm room jam sessions and a shared love for unconventional music. Consisting of four members, Mark ‘Moose’ McAllister on lead guitar and vocals, Rachel Farley on bass, Liam Holmes on drums, and Tim ‘Toto’ Dalton on keyboard, the band was named ironically after an old professor’s remark that the members’ interest in music was ‘petty learning’ compared to their academic pursuits. Refusing to let the remark be a deterrent, they instead let it fuel their passion for music, and thus ‘Petty Learning’ was born.

Their journey began with impromptu performances in local bars and college festivals, but their raw talent and unique sound quickly caught the ears of fans and music producers alike. Despite their academic pressures, the band members continued to juggle their studies with their rising music career, embodying the name ‘Petty Learning’.
