Hideous Policy was formed in the gritty backstreets of Leeds, England, in 2010. Originally a trio, band members Leon “Locke” McIntyre, Rufus “Rusty” Haynes, and Oliver “Ollie” Shaw were childhood friends turned disgruntled employees in different sectors of the corporate world. They initially used their musical skills as an outlet for their frustrations with their workplace’s unethical practices and eventually decided to leave their nine-to-five grind to pursue music full-time.
