Backstory:
Formed in the sleepy town of Wayne, New Jersey, Lavish Cold is the brainchild of childhood friends Mark Donaldson and Joey Parker. They started playing in their parents’ garages when they were only 13 and 14, respectively. Bonding over a shared love for rock music, the duo soon started to compose their songs, drawing inspiration from the snowy landscapes that encapsulated their home during winter. With Mark on vocals and guitar and Joey on the drums, they soon started playing at local bars and clubs, winning over audiences with their energy and authenticity. When bassist Sarah Miller joined them three years later, they felt like they’d found the final piece of their puzzle. Their rise to stardom was meteoric, filled with unforgettable performances and songs that resonate with their fans.

“Frozen Hearts”
Full song lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[C] Out here in the cold, [Am] lost in the snow,
[F] Crystal skies are all I [G] know.
[Am] Ice in my veins, [G] frost in my soul,
[F] Love was the fire, but now it’s [G] cold.
(Chorus)
[F] Frozen hearts, [C] in this lavish cold,
[Am] We used to burn so bright, [G] Now we barely glow.
[F] Love’s not lost, it’s [C] just covered in snow,
[Am] Come back to me, baby, [G] don’t let us grow old.
(Verse 2)
[C] Remember the days, [Am] under the sun,
[F] When our love had just [G] begun.
[Am] Now winter’s here, [G] and you’re not near,
[F] Your absence is the only [G] thing I fear.
(Repeat Chorus)
[F] Frozen hearts, [C] in this lavish cold,
[Am] We used to burn so bright, [G] Now we barely glow.
[F] Love’s not lost, it’s [C] just covered in snow,
[Am] Come back to me, baby, [G] don’t let us grow old.
