Backstory:
Near Planet captured the music scene’s attention in 2012, originating from the vibrant and diverse streets of Toronto, Canada. The band consists of four childhood friends – James Hartley on vocals and rhythm guitar, Benny “Bassman” Jones on bass, keyboardist Sarah Leigh, and drummer Danny O’Sullivan. Their story began in a basement, practicing tirelessly after school hours, transmuting their dreams into music. From playing at local bars to selling out concert arenas, Near Planet has evolved from an underground sensation to a global phenomenon.
