Backstory:
Quixotic Bible is an eclectic group of talented musicians who came together in the backstreets of San Francisco in 2010. The band was formed when Benjamin “Benji” Marshall, a wandering songwriter with a knack for crafting intricate melodies, bumped into Eliza Chambers, a classically-trained violinist with a rebellious spirit. They found common ground in their shared love for the unusual and the uncharted and decided to collaborate, bringing in their other friends – jazz drummer Miles Anderson, experimental bassist Clara Dunne, and innovative keyboardist Samuel “Sammy” O’Donnell.

The band’s name, Quixotic Bible, came about after a heated discussion about their collective desire to create music that told stories – stories that strived for the impossible, questioned the unquestionable, and defied the conventional – similar to the endeavors of Don Quixote in the world’s greatest literature. Their music is a compelling mix of fable and faith, reality and dream, and love and despair.
