Voluminous Rule

Backstory:

Voluminous Rule was birthed in the bustling heart of Seattle, Washington in 2010. The band members, frontman Steve Horowitz, guitarist Jake Thompson, bassist Billy Drummond, and drummer Mike Sullivan, all worked at the same record store and bonded over their shared love for music. They would close the store in the evenings and use the space for jamming. One day, they decided to take their passion to the next level and Voluminous Rule was born.

The group quickly gained local fame in the punk scene, playing in basement shows and punk clubs around the city. Their unique blend of raw emotion, rebellious lyrics, and energetic performances resonated with the audience. Their first demo, recorded in a friend’s garage, started circulating in the underground scene, catching the attention of a local indie label, which eventually led to their first album.
