Backstory:
Webbed Conservation was formed in the quirky bohemian district of the bustling city of San Francisco in 2018. The name was inspired by the group’s shared love of nature and the interconnectedness of all things – a ‘web’ of sorts. The band consists of four members: lead vocalist and guitarist, Riley; keyboardist and backup vocalist, Sam; bass player, Alex; and drummer, Jordan. They all met at a local open mic night, each drawn to the other’s distinct sound and shared values of environmental conservation. The band has always been committed to making music that not only entertains but also raises awareness about environmental issues.

Title:
“Sweeping Tides”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em
As the sun dips low, in a candy colored glow,
Am
We’re the poets of the night, with a melody to sow.
Em
Underneath the starlit skies, where the sweeping tides reside,
Am
We’ll sing for the earth, our voices amplified.
(Chorus)
G D
In every whisper of the wind,
Em C
In every river’s bend,
G D
We find a song to sing,
C
In the web we tend.
(Verse 2)
Em
From the mountain peaks, to the ocean deep,
Am
Our song echoes, a promise we’ll keep.
Em
For every tree that falls, every creature that lies,
Am
We’ll sing louder still, until our planet’s cries.
(Chorus)
G D
In the dance of the fireflies,
Em C
In the eagle’s high rise,
G D
We find a song to sing,
C
In the web we tend.

Testimonial:
“I’ve been a fan of Webbed Conservation since their first gig. I was instantly hooked by their music and the powerful message they sent. They’re not just a band to me, they’re like a movement. Their song ‘Sweeping Tides’ changed my perspective on environmental issues completely. Listening to them is a reminder that we are all part of this beautiful world and that we should do our best to protect it. I love the fact that when I listen to their music, I’m not just being entertained, but I’m also being educated. Webbed Conservation is definitely my favorite band, and I can’t wait to see how they continue to make a difference with their music.”
