Backstory:
“Wee Advertisement” was formed by three college roommates – Jimmy “Jinx” Keegan, Eddie “Echo” Murphy, and Stephen “Scooter” Anderson – in the small university town of Kilcullen, Ireland in 2015. The trio, each with a unique musical background, began as a cover band in local pubs and quickly developed a following with their lively performances and witty banter. Recognizing their chemistry and shared passion for music, they began to craft original songs, drawing inspiration from their experiences as students, the everyday humor they found in life, and their shared love for their home country. Despite their humble beginnings, “Wee Advertisement” has managed to carve out a niche in the crowded music scene, gaining a reputation for their quirky songwriting and energetic stage performances.

Seamus’s Testimonial:
“I’ve been a fan of ‘Wee Advertisement’ since their first pub gig. There’s a genuine spirit in their music that you don’t find often. Their tunes, like “Shenanigans at the Corner Shop,” are not just songs, they’re stories that resonate with the day-to-day life here in Ireland. The lads don’t try to be something they are not; their music is raw, genuine, and it’s incredibly fun. Their gigs are the highlight of my week. It’s not just about the music, it’s the community they’ve built, the laughter and shared experiences. That’s what makes ‘Wee Advertisement’ my favorite band.”
