Backstory:

The four members, Billy, Jake, Terry, and Wendy, worked together at a local thrift store where they discovered a shared love for music from the late ’60s and early ’70s. The band was formed in the back room of the store, amidst dusty old records and vintage clothing. After hours, they would transform the store into a makeshift studio, creating what would eventually become their signature sound.

Unable to afford a professional recording studio, the band decided to record their first album in the thrift store itself, using whatever instruments and recording equipment they could find. This gave their music a unique, gritty quality which attracted a cult following. The name Monstrous Sink came from an old, dilapidated sink in the store that always seemed to overflow and cause a mess, much like the raw and uncontained energy of their music.
