Backstory
Angelic Inspection, formed in 2014, is an experimental indie rock band from the heart of the bustling city of Austin, Texas. The band started as a jam session between childhood friends Alex (lead vocalist), Ryan (guitar), Brenda (bass), and Tim (drums) who grew up listening to the pioneering rock bands of the 70s and 80s. Their shared passion for music and a desire to create something unique and meaningful led them to form Angelic Inspection. The band’s name was inspired by Alex’s belief in angels and the idea that their music is ‘an inspection of the divine’. Their sound quickly resonated with indie music lovers and within a few short years, they carved a niche for themselves in the Austin music scene.

Azure Echoes
Full Song Lyrics
[Verse 1]
G D Em C
Underneath the cobalt skies,
G D Em C
We’re tracing stars with weary eyes,
G D Em C
Lost in azure echoes, we roam,
G D Em C
Chasing dreams away from home.
[Chorus]
G D Em C
Azure echoes, like a silent prayer,
G D Em C
Speak of love that we’re yet to share.
G D Em C
In this cosmic dance, we sway,
G D Em C
Underneath the milky way.
[Verse 2]
G D Em C
With hearts aflame, and souls alight,
G D Em C
We traverse through the velvet night.
G D Em C
In azure echoes, we confide,
G D Em C
On this celestial joyride.
[Chorus]
G D Em C
Azure echoes, like a silent prayer,
G D Em C
Speak of love that we’re yet to share.
G D Em C
In this cosmic dance, we sway,
G D Em C
Underneath the milky way.

Our favorite fan is Sarah Dawson. She has been there since our very first gig, standing in the front row, singing along with every word. As a die-hard fan, she has an entire Instagram page dedicated to our band, spreading love and appreciation for our music. She once told us, “Angelic Inspection’s music speaks to me on a spiritual level. It’s raw, honest and beautiful in its own unique way. Their lyrics have got me through some really tough times. It’s like they inspect the deepest corners of my soul and make me feel seen and heard. They are not just my favorite band, they are my emotional lifeline.”
