Backstory:
Gaseous Insight was formed in the quiet town of Crestwood, Illinois in 2010. The band consists of four childhood friends – lead vocalist Mark “Markey” Donovan, guitarist Gary “Gaz” Thompson, bassist Jeff “Jazz” Perkins, and drummer Sam “Sledge” Morrison. Initially, they played music as a means to escape the monotony of their suburban lives; however, their jam sessions in Mark’s basement soon transformed into something much larger. A local bar owner overhead their passionate melodies one evening and offered them a regular gig at his establishment. This led to other gigs, recording sessions, and eventually a record deal, bringing Gaseous Insight to the forefront of the alternative rock scene.
