Backstory:
The Periodic Pub originates from the small, vibrant and artsy town of Austin, Texas. The band was formed in a local chemistry class at a community college, where all four members were studying. They shared a common love for both science and music, which inspired them to start jamming together during their free time. One day, in their usual hangout spot, an old, Irish-styled pub, they decided to make their shared passion official and form a band, thus, Periodic Pub was born.
Their music journey started with performing in that very pub, covering their favorite bands. Over time, they began composing their own music, a unique blend of their diverse musical tastes with elements of chemistry and science thrown subtly into their lyrics. Their local performances picked up such a buzz that they eventually found themselves performing in music festivals across Texas and beyond.

“Chemistry of Heartstrings”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse)
Em C G D
“Underneath the neon signs,
D Em C G
In the pub where we used to dine,
G C Em D
A pint of bitter truth, a shot of sweet lies,
D Em C G
In the Periodic Pub, love multiplies.
(Chorus)
Em C G D
It’s the chemistry of heartstrings,
D Em C G
An experiment of stolen kisses,
G C Em D
A reaction of laughter and tears,
D Em C G
In the Periodic Pub, love conquers fears.
(Verse)
Em C G D
Where the elements align,
D Em C G
Passionate protons intertwine,
G C Em D
An equation of you plus me,
D Em C G
In the Periodic Pub, we break free.”
(Chorus)
Em C G D
It’s the chemistry of heartstrings,
D Em C G
A formula of moonlight whispers,
G C Em D
A synthesis of dreams and reality,
D Em C G
In the Periodic Pub, love is our gravity.”

Testimonial: “I’ve always been a fan of rock music, but what drew me to Periodic Pub was how they made science and chemistry poetic and romantic through their songs. Their unique blend of folk rock and chemistry-themed lyrics are not something you hear every day. It’s like they’ve found a way to make the most complex things sound so simple and beautiful. Plus, they’re all so down to earth and approachable during their shows. They make you feel part of their science-infused musical journey. Periodic Pub is definitely my favorite band!”
