Backstory:
Long-Term Exhibition is a five-piece band formed in the heart of Brooklyn, New York, in the late summer of 2014. The members, former art students from various parts of the nation, found their common language in music while dabbling in the local arts scene. Their collective passion for visual and auditory expression led them to combine their talents, thus, Long-Term Exhibition was born. Their creative foundation led to a unique sound reflecting their diverse influences, from classic rock to indie folk, with a touch of electronic ambiance.
The group’s initial jamming sessions in the loft of an old Brooklyn brownstone quickly transformed into recorded demos. Their experimental vibe, coupled with thought-provoking lyrics, found resonance in the heart of the city’s burgeoning underground scene. Gaining recognition for their live performances, Long-Term Exhibition soon became a staple at local festivals and charity events.

Song Title:
“Canvas Echoes”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Gm D# F
Under the city lights, we paint our dreams,
Gm D# F
Words spoken softer than they seem,
Gm D# F
Lost in the echo of a canvas scream,
Gm D# F
Let’s create a scene.
(Chorus)
Gm D# F
Canvas echoes, can you hear?
Gm D# F
Our story painted, crystal clear,
Gm D# F
In every stroke, in every smear,
Gm D# F
Canvas echoes, hold us near.
(Verse 2)
Gm D# F
Through the hues, the truth we find,
Gm D# F
In every shade, a state of mind,
Gm D# F
Art and sound, forever intertwined,
Gm D# F
A masterpiece, we’ve designed.
(Chorus)
Gm D# F
Canvas echoes, can you see?
Gm D# F
Our vision, wild and free,
Gm D# F
In every note, in every key,
Gm D# F
Canvas echoes, let it be.
