Backstory:

Triangular Bag was born in the haphazard backstreets of Austin, Texas, a city renowned for its thriving music scene. Lead singer and songwriter, Greg ‘Grit’ Thompson, was just another part-time janitor at a local music joint, until he found an old, weathered triangular bag in the venue’s basement filled with obscure musical instruments. He, alongside his childhood friends – drummer Tony ‘Thump’ Garcia and bassist Bobby ‘Bassline’ Jackson – decided to explore the uncharted territories of music that this mysterious bag offered. They began experimenting with their signature sound, mixing the old with the new, breathing life into forgotten instruments, and thus, Triangular Bag was born.

Billy ‘The Tri-Bag’ Jones. Billy is an ardent fan of Triangular Bag who discovered their music while going through a rough patch in his life. Triangular Bag’s unique sound and heartfelt lyrics helped him find a sense of belonging and solace. Billy went on to create the first fan club for the band and has been their staunch supporter ever since. He is known for his creative interpretations of the songs and his triangular bag hat that has become somewhat of a symbol in the fan community.
