Backstory:
Attached Language was born out of an English Literature class in Brixton, London, in the spring of 2010. The band consists of four members: lead singer and rhythm guitarist Lydia Raine, lead guitarist Alex Hendrix, bassist Oscar Reid, and drummer Mia Hammer. While studying together, they discovered a shared passion for music that transcended their academic pursuits. Harnessing their love for poetry and English Literature, they began to weave intricate narratives and profound emotional expressions into their songs, making their music a unique fusion of literary and musical art.
The band’s journey wasn’t always smooth sailing – the first few years involved playing in cramped, smoky pubs and sleeping in beat-up vans. But it was their grit, determination, and shared belief in their craft that saw them through these challenging times. In 2016, they had a breakthrough when their demo was picked up by indie label, Wavelength Records. From then on, Attached Language’s star began to rise, and today they continue to captivate audiences with their powerful and emotive music.

Title:
“Bibliophile’s Dream”
Full Song Lyrics with Chord Progression:
Verse 1: (Am G D Em)
In the whispers of the pages, in the quiet of the night,
A tale unfolds in silence, beneath the moon’s soft light.
The words they dance like fireflies, in a bibliophile’s dream,
In a world where reality is seldom what it seems.
Chorus: (C G D Em)
This is a bibliophile’s dream, (Am G D Em)
Where love and loss are themes,
In this boundless realm of paper, (C G D Em)
Where nothing’s as it seems.
Verse 2: (Am G D Em)
The echo of the chapters, the rhythm of the prose,
The sweetness of the sonnets, like a blooming summer rose.
Each line holds a secret, each paragraph a tale,
In the labyrinth of literature, where words never fail.
Chorus: (C G D Em)
This is a bibliophile’s dream, (Am G D Em)
Where fantasy reigns supreme,
In this boundless realm of paper, (C G D Em)
Where the magic is unseen.
