Backstory:

Potable Involvement started as a group of childhood friends who hailed from the small, coastal town of Lone Pine, California. The band members, Dan Oliver (lead vocalist), Jeff McMartin (drummer), Nick Carter (bassist), and Steve Richardson (lead guitarist), spent their summers tinkering with broken instruments which they scavenged from the neighborhood. Over years of trial and error, they learned how to make music together. Their bond and shared experiences gave birth to unique tracks that captured the feel of their rustic hometown, the spirit of their youthful adventures, and the dreams they held for the future.

In 2015, they performed in local bars and quickly gained popularity due to their heartfelt lyrics and energetic performances. Their sound was a compelling fusion of genres that caught the attention of a music scout from Indie Records. Since then, Potable Involvement has toured the country, delivered memorable performances, and established their name in the indie music scene.

Their most ardent fan is a woman named Rosemary who lives in Lone Pine. In her testimony, she says, “I’ve been a fan of Potable Involvement from the start. They’re not just a band, they’re our band. Their music tells our stories, captures our dreams, and echoes our spirit. Every song is a thread in the quilt of our community. They have kept Lone Pine alive in their music, no matter where they’ve traveled. This is why they’re my favorite band. Because, wherever they go, they bring a piece of home with them.”
