“Crescent City Hurricane”

Full song lyrics:

(Verse 1)
C (Em) G (D)
Walking down Bourbon, under neon lights,
Am (Cm) E (B)
Waves of the jazz notes, they take flight.
C (Em) G (D)
A Crescent City Hurricane, stirs the night,
Am (Cm) E (B)
We’re dancing in the rain, feeling just right.

(Chorus)
F (Gm) C (D)
Crescent City Hurricane, wash over me,
Dm (Em) Bb (C) G (A)
Take me where, I’m supposed to be.
F (Gm) C (D)
In your arms, we dance and sway,
Dm (Em) Bb (C) G (A)
In the heart of New Orleans, we lose our way.

(Verse 2)
C (Em) G (D)
Moon kissing the river, stars in our eyes,
Am (Cm) E (B)
Caught in the moment, under southern skies.
C (Em) G (D)
Crescent City Hurricane, high tide delight,
Am (Cm) E (B)
In the rhythm of the night, we take flight.

(Chorus)
F (Gm) C (D)
Crescent City Hurricane, sing me your song,
Dm (Em) Bb (C) G (A)
In your rhythm, I belong.
F (Gm) C (D)
Through the storm, we find our way,
Dm (Em) Bb (C) G (A)
In the heart of New Orleans, we choose to stay.

“I fell in love with Exotic Weather the first time I heard them at a local festival here in New Orleans. Their music has this unique vibe that is so raw yet so comforting, it’s like a musical embodiment of our city. From the expressive lyrics to the mesmerizing guitar riffs and the infectious drum beats, it’s impossible to not get drawn in. The song “Crescent City Hurricane” is my personal favorite. It brings back vivid memories of dancing in the rain with good friends. I admire their ability to inject soul into their music. It’s like they’re telling a story and we, as listeners, are there living it with them. For me, they’re not just a band, they’re the heartbeat of the city.”
