Backstory:
Hailing from the small, quirky town of Linsfield, the four members of ‘Juvenile Peasant’ met in high school. They were brought together by a mutual love for music and a shared disdain for the mundane life of their town. Sam Jenkins, the lead vocalist and bassist, was a rebellious soul with a powerful voice. He was joined by guitarist Hank Watson, a quiet yet highly talented musician, Kevin Smithson on the drums, known for his infectious energy, and Rachel Curtis, who lent her skills on the keyboard and backing vocals.
Starting out, they played in small gigs, weddings, and local fairs, slowly gaining recognition for their unique sound. Their big break came in the form of a regional Battle of the Bands competition, which they won, landing themselves a recording contract. Their music, a blend of alternative rock with subtle folk influences, resonated with many, and ‘Juvenile Peasant’ quickly skyrocketed to stardom.

Title:
“Harvest Moon Lullaby”
Full Song Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
Am F G C
Underneath the harvest moon, we found our tune,
Am F G C
Sang of love, youth, and dreams, amidst our dune.
Am F G C
Our hearts were young, minds ablaze, in that June,
Am F G C
We were the kings and queens, of our own monsoon.
[Chorus]
Dm Am G C
Harvest moon lullaby, our innocent outcry,
Dm Am G C
Beneath the velvet sky, we will never comply.
[Verse 2]
Am F G C
Running through fields, beneath the stars,
Am F G C
We found our home, strumming our guitars.
Am F G C
In the glow of the moon, bearing our scars,
Am F G C
We are the juvenile peasants, with hopes as high as Mars.
[Chorus]
Dm Am G C
Harvest moon lullaby, a song of sweet goodbye,
Dm Am G C
Underneath the night’s guise, we will always rise.
