Confused Mayor

Backstory:

Formed in the bustling heart of Seattle, Washington, in 2010, Confused Mayor was originally a group of four high school friends – Jake Thompson on vocals and rhythm guitar, Liam Smith on lead guitar, Mike Rodgers on bass, and Harry Goodman behind the drums. The band started as a hobby, them gathering in each other’s garages to jam, unwind and express their ideas and feelings. It wasn’t until their unexpected win in a local talent show that they began to see their potential and take it seriously. Encouraged by the win, they set out to refine their sound and make a name for themselves in the local music scene.

Their name, Confused Mayor, was a nod to a joke about their town’s mayor who was infamous for his indecisive speeches and quirky traits. The band’s sense of humor was infectious, and they soon gained a following for not just their playful name but their unique, energetic sound and reflective lyrics.

“I’m Amy, a die-hard fan of Confused Mayor since their garage days. I love the band because their music speaks to me on a personal level. Their lyrics are deep, and they hit the right chord every time. ‘City of Chaos’ is my favorite track; it resonates with our current societal chaos and calls for leadership to rise. It’s bold and unapologetic. And the guitar riffs? Absolutely killer! Confused Mayor is more than just a band to me. They’re a symbol of expression and rebellion in this chaotic world.”
