Backstory:

Hailing from the rain-drenched city of Seattle, Careful Hose emerged onto the indie music scene in 2016. The band is comprised of childhood friends, frontman Joel “Jett” Peterson, drummer, Tim “T-Bone” Andrews, bassist, Caleb “CJ” Johnson, and lead guitarist, Kaitlyn “KT” Thompson. The members, who had played in various garage bands throughout high school, sought to create a sound that was uniquely their own. They decided to name the band Careful Hose as a nod to their childhood mischief of water fights with garden hoses and the inevitable need to be careful not to flood their parents’ basements.
