Backstory:
Mammoth Lease is a four-piece band hailing from the chilly landscapes of Alaska. The members – Evan (lead vocalist), Jake (lead guitarist), Tony (bassist), and Mitchell (drummer) – came together in high school, drawn by their shared love for music. Originally, they played in their school’s music room during lunch breaks, honing their skills and creating a unique sound. Their band name, Mammoth Lease, was inspired by their fascination with the prehistoric giants that once roamed their home state, and their early experiences playing in the family’s leased garage space.

The band made local headlines when they won a statewide Battle of the Bands competition, which led to their first record deal. Mammoth Lease’s music resonates with listeners due to their honest songwriting and the unique fusion of their Alaskan roots with their chosen genre.
