Backstory:
Ironclad Mile is a thrilling story of school friends who shared a mutual love for music and an indomitable spirit to create something extraordinary. The band was formed in the small town of Fenton, Michigan, in 2008 by Steve ‘Iron’ Griffin and Mike ‘Mile’ Johnson. Steve, being a self-taught guitarist, and Mike, a prodigy drummer, started jamming in their school days, creating a unique fusion of rock, metal, and blues. Their strong bond and shared vision led them to form ‘Ironclad Mile.’ After completing their studies, they moved to Chicago in search of bigger crowds and better opportunities. There they met bassist Sarah ‘Ivy’ Kellerman and keyboardist John ‘Copper’ Harris, who added the missing elements to their music. Ironclad Mile was finally complete.
