Backstory:
Oblong Wing was formed in the vibrant city of Melbourne, Australia in 2017. What started as casual jam sessions in a small garage between four college friends quickly morphed into a musical aspiration. The band members, lead guitarist and vocalist Lenny, bassist Sam, drummer Matty, and keyboardist Pete, drew inspiration from their love for vintage rock and the modern indie scene. Their shared passion for music and a desire to create a unique sound led to the formation of the band.

Oblong Wing quickly gained a following in the underground music scene of Melbourne with their energetic live performances and soul-piercing lyrics. Their music resonated with the youth, leading to sold-out shows in local music venues. On the back of their local success, the band released their debut album, “Soundscapes & Skylines,” in 2019 to critical acclaim, solidifying their place in the hearts of Indie rock lovers across the globe.
