Backstory:

Parallel Eye was formed in the bustling metropolis of New York City in 2008. The founding members, lead vocalist and guitarist Jake Morrison, bassist Benny Lazarus, drummer Ethan Jones, and keyboardist Violet Hughes, found each other through a chain of serendipitous events involving open mic nights, a shared love of obscure vinyl records, and a chance encounter in a vinyl record shop. Their shared passion for music infused with meaningful lyrics and ethereal melodies quickly made them inseparable – leading to the inception of Parallel Eye.

The name ‘Parallel Eye’ is an ode to their ability to see and understand the world from different perspectives, a trait they believe is deeply ingrained in their creative process. Their music is more than just a blend of sounds; it is their way of interpreting and expressing the world around them.
