Backstory:

Educated Rhythm began their musical journey in the vibrant city of New Orleans. The lead singer, Jack Thompson, met the drummer, Annie Hughes, at a small jazz club in the heart of the city. They clicked almost immediately, with Jack’s soulful voice and Annie’s rhythmic beats blending together seamlessly. They soon invited guitarist, Leon Bridges, and bassist, Marla Jones, to join their ensemble, and Educated Rhythm was born. The band gained local fame playing venues around town, capturing audiences with their distinct sound, before they were discovered by a major record label.

Their music speaks to life’s highs and lows, drawing inspiration from their own personal experiences. They sing about love, loss, resilience, the beauty of life, all layered with potent metaphors and evocative imagery.
