Backstory:
Formed in the heart of bustling New York City in 2013, the band Demanding Sport was a group of high school friends who shared a passion for music. The members, Zoe Harrison (vocals, guitar), Max King (bass, backup vocals), Charlie Parker (drums), and Ava Mitchell (keyboard, backup vocals), all met during their freshman year. Their undeniable chemistry made them an instant hit in the local music scene. Originally, they would make noise in their parents’ basements and garages, but they were spotted by a local talent scout at a battle of the bands competition and things started to take off for them.

To add an interesting twist to their journey, the band members were all athletes, which played a significant role in shaping their music and image. Hence, they named the band Demanding Sport, fusing their love for music and sports. Their music shared stories of their athletic endeavors and the struggles and triumphs they encountered.
