Backstory:
Evil Nose is a band that came into existence in the heart of New York City’s underground music scene in 2012. The founding members, John “Snout” Snoutman, a disillusioned Broadway actor, and Harry “The Sneeze” Jones, a classically trained pianist, found common ground in their shared love for challenging the status quo and pushing the boundaries of music. They shared a unique vision of blending rock, blues and avant-garde elements to create a sound that was distinctively their own. Soon, they were joined by Debbie “Nostril” Smith on the drums and Jason “Whiff” Whiffman on bass, and Evil Nose was born.
With a style that was as bizarre as their name, they quickly carved a niche for themselves in the music scene. Their shows were infamous for their wild theatrics and unpredictable energy, and their music was celebrated for its raw power and provocative lyrics. Despite their unconventional approach, they’ve managed to garner an ardent fanbase that appreciates their boldness and artistic integrity.
