Backstory:
Originally formed in the sleepy town of Brighton, England, “Bright Blanket” was created when childhood friends, Jamie Philips and Chris Miller, decided to channel their mutual passion for music. They found fellow band members in Daisy Huxley, an extraordinarily talented bassist from their local school, and drummer Sam Robinson, who had been playing since he was six, discovered busking on the streets of their town. The friends would lock themselves in Jamie’s basement every weekend, creating a sound that was unique, free-spirited, and bursting with energy. Their local gigs soon gained popularity, and the band’s fan base exploded overnight when a song they uploaded online went viral.
