Backstory:
Unwitting Shape is a band of four childhood friends from the small coastal town of Port St. Joe. The members, Adam (vocals and guitar), Mike (bass), Luke (drums), and Theo (keyboard) began making music together in high school, with their distinct sound born out of late-night jam sessions in Theo’s garage. The name ‘Unwitting Shape’ was coined by Mike, who described their process of creating music as an ‘unwitting journey’, wherein they never quite knew where they would end up, but always managed to find a shape or form in the end. After winning a local battle of the bands, the group was discovered by an independent record label, and their journey took them far beyond the confines of their small town.

Genre:
Unwitting Shape creates a unique fusion of Indie rock and Electropop. Their sound is characterized by infectious, electric melodies, compelling lyrics, and a sense of nostalgia and longing that resonates with their audience.
