Peppery Capability

Backstory:
Peppery Capability began their journey in the vibrant city of Liverpool, England, in the summer of 2009. The founding members of the four-piece band, Stan Green (vocals and lead guitar), Mark “Salty” Saltzman (drums), Jimmy “Pepper” Henderson (bass guitar), and Lilly “Paprika” Parks (keyboard and vocals), all attended the same music school. Their shared passion for music and unique blend of styles led them to form the band, with the quirky name originating from their love for spicy food and a desire to reflect their ‘spicy’ style in their music.

After playing in local pubs and gaining a small but loyal following, Peppery Capability were discovered by a talent scout in 2013. They’ve since released three critically acclaimed albums, and are known for their dynamic live performances. Their music, a fusion of indie pop and rock with sprinkles of folk, has captured the hearts of many, and they continue to spread their peppery capability around the world.

Full song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[Am] Once upon a time, [G] under the neon lights,
[F] We were just dreamers, [G] chasing the night.
[Am] With a song in our hearts, and [G] stars in our eyes,
[F] We found our rhythm, [G] in the salt and the spice.

(Chorus)
[C] Oh, we’re just dreamers under the [G] neon lights,
[Am] Dancing to the beat of this crazy [Em] life.
[F] With a dash of salt and a [C] sprinkle of spice,
[G] We’re painting the town with our [Am] melodies tonight.

(Verse 2)
[Am] Strumming the chords, [G] feeling the vibe,
[F] We’re peppery capability, [G] ready to jive.
[Am] With a pinch of sass, and a [G] whole lot of nice,
[F] Life’s got a flavor, [G] it’s salt and spice.

(Chorus)
[C] Oh, we’re just dreamers under the [G] neon lights,
[Am] Dancing to the beat of this crazy [Em] life.
[F] With a dash of salt and a [C] sprinkle of spice,
[G] We’re painting the town with our [Am] melodies tonight.

(Outro)
[Am] So, just keep on dancing, [G] under the neon light,
[F] With a pinch of salt and a [C] sprinkle of spice,
[G] We’ll keep on singing, till the [Am] end of the night.

Molly’s Testimonial:
“Peppery Capability is my favorite band because their music is just so relatable and energized. I’ve followed them since their early days, playing small gigs around Liverpool. Their songs have a certain spark, a peppery capability, which makes even the gloomiest days bright. ‘Salt and Spice’ is my absolute favorite, because it embodies the band’s spirit – a little bit of salt, a whole lot of spice, and a whole lot of life. It’s impossible not to dance when that song comes on!”
