Courageous Potato

Backstory:

Courageous Potato was born out of the ashes of a small farming town in Idaho, where four lifelong friends decided to chase the music dream instead of the life of farming potatoes that their family and community had expected of them. The band consists of Joe “Spud” Clarkson on lead vocals and guitar, Larry “Tuber” Davis on drums, Sam “Yam” Thompson on bass, and Sarah “Sweet” O’Brien on keyboards and backup vocals. The band’s name was initially a joke, a nod to their roots, but it stuck, and so did their music. They soon found their sound resonating with audiences in ways they did not anticipate.

The band gained popularity quickly by performing at local talent shows and county fairs, and their popularity grew when their demo tape was picked up by a local radio station. Their music’s authenticity and raw emotion, combined with their humble background, resonated with fans. They’ve since performed at several major music festivals, capturing the hearts of a diverse audience.
