Backstory:
Warmhearted Engine was formed in the small coastal town of Monterey, California, in the summer of 2012. The band’s original members, childhood friends Ronnie “Edge” Edgerton (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and Johnny “Johnny Boy” Mathias (lead guitar), were inspired by their shared love for music and their dream of introducing a fresh sound that would connect people across the world. They were joined by the dynamic duo of Sarah “Sally” O’Connor (bass, backing vocals) and Chris “Bongo” Batista (drums, percussion). Each member brought their unique flavor to the band, thus creating a distinct sound that would soon be recognized as the signature of Warmhearted Engine.

Their journey started with small gigs at local bars before they gained recognition by winning a local band competition. The victory earned them some studio time and a small following in their hometown. With their infectious energy and earnest lyrics, they steadily climbed their way up the music scene, eventually landing a record deal that skyrocketed them to national fame.
