Backstory:
Formed in a tiny garage in the suburbs of Nashville, Tennessee, Basic Tie is the creation of childhood friends, Jesse Carver and Timothy “Tim” Richards. The duo started the band in their senior year of high school, drawn together by their shared love for music and their vision to bring raw, unfiltered passion back to the music scene. They soon added drummer Alex Channing to their line-up, and with Jesse on vocals and guitar, Tim on bass, and Alex on drums, Basic Tie was ready to take on the world. The band’s name is a nod to their humble beginnings, and their firm belief that the most basic ties — like friendship, love, and music — are the strongest.
