Equal Song

Backstory:
Equal Song was formed in the small coastal town of Newport, Oregon. The founding members, Jack Turner and Abby Carter, met in their high school music theory class and found they shared a mutual love for music. They started by playing covers of their favorite bands at school talent shows and local festivals. As they grew older, they began to write and compose their own music, inspired by the scenes of their beautiful coastal town and the stories of its people. After college, they decided to fully pursue their passion and formed Equal Song, a band name derived from their shared belief in the power of music to bring equality and unity among people.

Title:
“Rhythm of the Waves”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am G D Am
Sitting by the shore, the sound of the waves,
Am G D Am
Paints a melody, a song that paves.
Am G D Am
A path to peace, a journey through time,
Am G D Am
In this endless sea, we find our rhyme.

(Chorus)
D G C Am
The rhythm of the waves, the strum of the guitar,
D G C Am
In every beat, we find who we are.
D G C Am
Together we stand, under the moon and the stars,
D G C Am
Equal song we sing, healing all our scars.

(Verse 2)
Am G D Am
Echoes of laughter, whispers in the wind,
Am G D Am
The dance of the fire, where stories begin.
Am G D Am
We share our dreams, under the night sky,
Am G D Am
In every note, our spirits fly.

(Chorus)
D G C Am
The rhythm of the waves, the strum of the guitar,
D G C Am
In every beat, we find who we are.
D G C Am
Together we stand, under the moon and the stars,
D G C Am
Equal song we sing, healing all our scars.
