Backstory:
Judicious Horizon was born from the eclectic union of four college friends from the heart of Austin, Texas: lead singer and guitarist James ‘JJ’ Jensen, drummer Emily ‘Mila’ Miller, bassist Tom ‘T-Bone’ Bonaventura, and keyboardist Sean ‘Fingers’ Fingleton. They first started making music together as part of a college project, but soon found that their synergy transcended the academic world. Their unique blend of musical influences resulted in a sound so unique it could only belong to them. Thus, Judicious Horizon was formed, named for their balanced and thoughtful approach to music and their continuous pursuit of new musical frontiers.
After a few years of local gigs and a self-produced EP, the band was discovered by a talent scout while playing at the legendary Austin City Limits Festival. Their subsequent signing with Red Note Records launched their music to an international platform, earning them a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim.

Title:
“Fractals in the Sky”
Full song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Fractals in the sky, [Em] painted with a sigh, [C] how we wonder why, [D] under the moonlight
[G] Echoes of our past, [Em] shadows that won’t last, [C] hopes tied to the mast, [D] lost in the twilight
(Chorus)
[G] We look out, [D] past the judicious horizon,
[Em] Searching for answers, [C] in a world often chastising
[G] Will we ever find, [D] our place in the constellation,
[Em] Or are we just, [C] echoes of a lost generation?
(Verse 2)
[G] Pages yet to fill, [Em] dreams yet to instill, [C] on life’s uphill, [D] we keep the fight
[G] Underneath the veneer, [Em] battling fear, [C] the horizon’s near, [D] promising light
(Chorus)
[G] We look out, [D] past the judicious horizon,
[Em] Searching for clarity, [C] in a world ever polarizing
[G] Can we break the cycle, [D] of constant complication,
[Em] Or are we just, [C] echoes of a lost generation?
