Backstory:
Spicy Fig was formed in the heart of San Francisco, on a foggy day in 2005. The members – Zach on vocals, Vince on drums, Cassie on bass guitar, and Marley on keys – were college friends who decided to turn their shared love for music into a full-fledged career. They were all culinary students who bonded over their passion for unique flavor combinations, hence the unusual band name, Spicy Fig. Inspired by the beats and rhythms they found in their professional cooking careers, they created a style of music that was as innovative as it was catchy.
Despite their culinary backgrounds, the band was quick to make a name for themselves in the music industry. They started by playing in local bars and quickly gained a cult following. Their unique sound, paired with their ability to connect with their audience, made them stand out in the bustling music scene of San Francisco. By 2010, they had released their first album and were selling out venues across the country.

Title:
“Sweet & Spicy”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am G F C
Rolling down the road in my old shoes,
Am G F C
Finding my way back to the truth.
Am G F C
Just like a fig, sweet and unique,
Am G F C
I got a flavor that’s hard to beat.
(Chorus)
Am G F C
I’m sweet and spicy, just like a fig,
Am G F C
Dance to my rhythm, let’s make this big.
Am G F C
Come get a taste, of what we got,
Am G F C
With Spicy Fig, we hit the spot.
(Verse 2)
Am G F C
Strumming the strings, banging the drums,
Am G F C
We’re making music that overcomes.
Am G F C
Just like a fig, we’re ripe and ready,
Am G F C
Our sound is steady, our beats are heavy.
(Repeat Chorus)
