Backstory:

Chilly Drop was conceived in the winter of 2010, in the heart of London, England. The founding members, lead vocalist Jasper McGuire and drummer Eddie Stone, met at a local pub’s open mic night. Their connection was instantaneous, leading them to jam together and realize their shared vision for music. They soon recruited bassist Matteo Russo, an Italian immigrant known for his catchy groove, and lead guitarist Simon Banks, a prodigious talent from the distinguished Royal Academy of Music. Together, they formed ‘Chilly Drop,’ a name inspired by the cold London winter that brought them together.

Chilly Drop’s music falls primarily under the Indie Rock genre. Their sound is a unique blend of melodic hooks, driving basslines and layered guitar riffs, drawing influences from bands like Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes. Chilly Drop’s favorite fan is a girl named Chloe. Chloe, a long-time Indie Rock enthusiast, happened upon Chilly Drop during their earliest pub gigs. She was instantly captivated by their sound and has been a dedicated follower ever since. She says, “Chilly Drop produces music that resonates.
